The Grand Bay night club scene and bar life has developed emphatically over the last few years and raised its standards beyond all recognition. It was a long time ago a peaceful seaside village consisting of a a small amount of low-priced snack bars and local bars, but there has been a lot of money spent and progress and nowadays the whole area has become a bustling vacation playground resort.
